MALCOLM TURNS 60

Five days. One milestone. A lifetime of legacy.

Malcolm Poree was born on February 5, 1967, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the only son of Anna Lea Poree and son of Samuel Ellsworth. His life has been shaped by family, faith, friendship, hard work and the relationships that have carried him through every season.

He is the devoted husband of Shawanda Young Poree, proud father of Malcolm Poree II and Marcus Poree, and father-in-law to Jordan Poree. His family also includes his sisters, Germaine Tillage Thompson and LeJuene Dugue, his brother, Eldon Ellsworth, and his mother-in-law, Hilda Young.

At 60, Malcolm's story is not simply measured in years, but in the people he loves, the family he has built, the friendships he has kept, and the memories created along the way. This weekend is a celebration of that life, that legacy, and the people who have been part of the journey.

Family and friends will gather at Evermore Resort in Orlando, Florida for Malcolm's 60th Invitational — a weekend centered on fellowship, golf, celebration, and unforgettable memories.

Over the years, we have been blessed to celebrate many meaningful chapters together. Malcolm's 50th was a milestone filled with joy, family and reflection. His 55th gave us another opportunity to pause, gather and appreciate the life, relationships and memories that have continued to shape our journey.

Now, as we celebrate his 60th, this weekend carries an even deeper meaning.

Not everyone who shared those earlier celebrations is able to be with us today. Life has changed, families have grown, seasons have shifted, and time has reminded us just how precious it is to be together. That is what makes this gathering so special.

You are here. And we are incredibly grateful.

Malcolm's 60th Invitational is more than a birthday weekend. It is a celebration of friendship, family, legacy, laughter, golf, love and the people who have walked alongside us through the years. Each of you has a place in our story, and it means more than we can say to share this milestone with you.

From the welcome reception to the golf course, from Universal Orlando to the black-tie celebration, Valentine’s brunch and the final farewell, we hope this weekend gives us time to reconnect, make new memories and simply enjoy being together.
