A New Orleans native through and through, Malcolm Poree has spent nearly six decades building a life centered on family, faith, friendship, hard work and enjoying the people around him. Born February 5, 1967, to Anna Lea Poree and Samuel Ellsworth, Malcolm's story has always been shaped less by the passing of time and more by the relationships, experiences and memories collected along the way.

Family remains at the heart of everything. Malcolm and his wife, Shawanda Young Poree, are proud parents of Malcolm Poree II and Marcus Poree, with their daughter-in-love, Jordan Poree, adding even more joy to the family. His circle also includes his sisters, Germaine Tillage Thompson and LeJeune Dugue; his brother, Eldon Ellsworth; his sister-in-law, Shirley Ellsworth; his mother-in-law, Hilda Young; his sister-in-law, Diana Young; bonus sons, Devin Young and Kayden Washington; and nieces and nephews, Ross, Tiffany, Jacob, and Amanda.

Turning 60 is another reason to celebrate everything Malcolm enjoys most: good people, great memories and time together. His story is reflected in the friendships he has maintained, the family he has built and the experiences that continue to bring everyone back together.

That spirit is exactly what Malcolm's 60th Invitational is about. Family and friends will gather at Evermore Resort in Orlando, Florida, for five days of fellowship, golf, celebration and unforgettable moments — a five-star weekend created for a five-star guy.
